Get your bike back in shape!
Is your old bike not running as well as you think it should (nothing to do with the rider of course)?
Or perhaps, one of the family has had a bike sitting around for a while and not being used?
Or maybe, you’re a reasonably keen cyclist and you’d like to make some fine adjustments, but not quite sure what?
Well, the Greasy Chain Charitable Trust in conjunction with Evo Cycles bike service, are offering free bike check-ups – dates to be confirmed.
Come on down to … at the end of Albert Street on (date and place to be confirmed)

Are you up for the Wednesday Challenge?
The Greasy Chain Charitable Trust is promoting a new initiative, the Wednesday Challenge. Piloted in Tauranga in 2022, the Wednesday Challenge is now moving into towns and cities across New Zealand. The challenge is to have as many people as possible ride or walk to work/school on a Wednesday each week, thus getting people starting a habit of being more active – in our case cycling. You’re encouraged to log your rides (or walks) on an app to keep a track of progress. It’s been found that the best results come when people take the challenge in groups, such as from one firm, business or even school, so how about your group or organisation starting the Wednesday Challenge?
You can see more details of the Wednesday Challenge here: https://www.wednesdaychallenge.co.nz/ .
